Stoney Nakoda Entertainment ResortMCA Environmental Management completed the environmental assessment for the proposed entertainment resort to be located on reserve lands located between Calgary and Canmore. The proposed development required a new water and waste water treatment plant adjacent the Kananaskis River in order to service the resort located approximately 3 kilometers east of the River Valley. The area is right on the edge of the Rocky Mountains and offers a scenic setting for the newest Stoney Nation economic development opportunity.
